7. A herbal salve can be prepared with the use of garlic and other herbs combination for Athlete’s foot.
Garlic and other herbs such as Echinacea root, black walnut hulls are taken and an oil infusion is prepared with the help of olive oil. The oil and herb infusion is strained through a cheesecloth collecting almost a cup of herb infused oil. Melt beeswax (1-2 ounces) on allow heat and add the herb infused oil to prepare a salve. This salve can be applied directly to the dried affected area every night following a foot soak and once in the morning.
8. Garlic is also used in combination with tea tree oil to relieve itching and burning between your toes in Athlete’s foot. About 2-3 cloves of garlic are crushed and blended and then added to a little rubbing alcohol, 1/8 teaspoon of tea tree oil and 2 teaspoon of potassium soap and then the feet are soaked in this foot bath.
